A great building is pitched twice — once to the people who will pay for it, and once to the people who will live in it. Your support is what makes the first of those pitches possible. UnitedPeoples is being designed to mobilise one hundred million members into millions of Projects for systemic change.
That first pitch is under way now: the case for building it, put to the people who can finance it. A pitch at this level is not free. The model suite — the working demonstration anyone can walk through — has to be open before the financier arrives, the diligence has to be answered on the day it is asked, and the rooms have to be convened wherever the case can be heard. Your support is what allows all of that — the pitch itself. Nothing else.
The first backer was the founder.

The Backers' Roll
Your name on this site, with your consent, among the First Backers — and carried into the institution itself on the day that it opens, so that the building will always remember who backed the pitch that paid for it.
The Briefing
Once a year, online: the founder on the state of the pitch, and your questions taken straight. Access is the gift — influence is not for sale, at any tier.
The Count
Every backer gets us closer to D-Day — the day UnitedPeoples opens to the public. Counted from the day you back it, and carried into every room the pitch enters.
The Pin
The First Backers' pin — gold over navy enamel, the raised hand in teal. Struck only when the building is funded, and worn from the day it opens. One design, identical at every tier, never issued again. Not a reward for giving: a record of having backed it before anyone knew it would be built.
Every tier receives the same things. A higher amount buys nothing extra — it simply carries more of the pitch.
The first hands raised.
Every backer takes a number, in the order they arrive — and earns the right to keep it. To back the pitch is to say that the building will stand. When it does, these numbers go with it — the first ten, the first fifty, the first hundred, the first thousand — each issued once and never again.
A number does not record how much you gave. It records how early you believed.
How the Roll works
Show your first and last name with your country, or stand as Anonymous with your country alone: the number is yours either way. Nothing more is ever shown — no amounts, and no titles.
The choice is made once, when you back it, and it stands — there is no backing out of having backed. A name, though, is shown only for as long as you want it shown: write to firstbackers@unitedpeoples.earth and the entry becomes Anonymous. The number does not change. It is yours from the moment it is issued.
A place is kept by carrying it. Cancel inside the first year and the number is retired — never reissued, and never filled, so the gap in the numbering remains. Carry the backing for a year and your place is permanent, whatever you do afterwards. A single gift of a year’s backing, €60 or more, takes its place outright from the day it arrives.
The Roll is carried into the institution on the day that it opens.

How much a month
