A movement built on peers, not hierarchies.
A foundation designed for impact, not ideology.
A community united by hope, courage, and resolve.
UnitedPeoples is a public-benefit foundation based in the Netherlands, created to be a civic operating system for the 21st century.
We are building the structures (Circles, Projects, NAVi, embedded finance) that will allow millions of people to do better, be better, while doing good.
Our story begins with a small team of directors, advisors, and vendors who set the foundations in place. But its true authors are the members who will shape, lead, and grow it into a global force.
UnitedPeoples: Humanity’s Plan B — designed to mobilise millions and deliver an Age of Thriving.
UnitedPeoples is guided by a small group of directors entrusted with turning an audacious vision into a living, working organisation. They are not merely caretakers of a legal entity — they are stewards of a global civic operating system built to mobilise millions in service of humanity’s Age of Thriving.
Each Director brings decades of experience in leadership, entrepreneurship, and systems change. Together they provide the compass and conviction that keep UP anchored in its Tenets while daring to move forward with urgency, scale, and hope.
Bob Westrope, Founder, Chair, Acting CEO, brings four decades of experience as an evangelist of big ideas and as an entrepreneur who made them real. His most recent venture, a four-year pilot engaging nearly 1,000 people from over 35 countries, provides much of the intellectual scaffolding on which UP is based. Bob is Founder and Chairman of UnitedPeoples and is also serving as Interim CEO.
Jeremy Cohen, Co-founder and Director (on long-term medical leave), is a Senior Partner at Blurred, a London-based leading strategic and creative Sustainability firm. Jeremy brings decades of experience in ESG, helping companies from Unilever to Rivian, as well as global business, political, and thought leaders to look at the world through the lens of impact and make a positive difference.
Guido Katwijk, Director, is a visionary leader in sustainable business development, driven by a deep belief in trust, curiosity, and the power of collective action and contributes to catalysing systemic global innovation for a sustainable, just and thriving world. As Regional Vice President Benelux & UK at Brimit, he specialises in sustainable business solutions, bridging operational technology and information technology to create value for clients across Europe.
From the outset, UnitedPeoples has been shaped by the insight and imagination of its Founding Advisors. Drawn from diverse domains — governance, technology, finance, community, and storytelling — they provided the intellectual and cultural scaBolding on which UP now stands.
They are recognised not for formal authority but for the vision, courage, and creativity they brought when the project was still an ambitious idea. Their fingerprints are embedded in the design of our Circles, our Projects, and the cultural architecture that will carry UnitedPeoples into the Age of Thriving.
UnitedPeoples could not have taken shape without the commitment of its Founding Vendors. These organisations brought the tools, systems, and expertise that transformed early concepts into tangible form. They did more than deliver services —they invested belief in a vision that demanded speed, precision, and trust.
Today, they stand ready to execute our plan, ensuring the technology, governance, and design foundations are in place to mobilise millions. Their partnership is woven into UP’s DNA, enabling us to build at the scale and urgency the moment demands.
Together we are stewards of this endeavor. The first of a great many who will stand each on the shoulders of those before them, to effect the transformation of our planet by 2035. Incorporated as a non-profit organization (stichting) in the Netherlands with ANBI (ie. tax exempt status), we are In conversation with some of the world’s leading Foundations, Innovation Funds, and Philanthropists – expecting to close on a principal financing by the end of 2025, immediately followed by beta development and testing.
In support of our commitment to transparency and our status as an ANBI (Public Benefit Organisation) stichting, we share Article 2 from our Deed of Incorporation. This article outlines our mission to address global polycrises through systemic innovation and transformation, aiming to create a sustainable, just, and equitable world for all.
“The foundation aims to address humanity’s systemic and global polycrises by organising and catalysing systemic global innovation and transformations for a sustainable, just and liveable world with equal opportunities for all.
